Dr. Lisa McIntyre-Hite is senior principal at Guild Education. Prior to joining Guild, she was vice president at Pathstream, an ed-tech start-up incubated at Entangled Solutions, where she served as a strategic advisor focused on higher education futures. McIntyre-Hite was the founding dean for competency-based education and executive director for learning innovation at Laureate Education where she developed its direct-assessment offering, seeing it through from pilot to scale. Her professional passion is rooted in the desire to take measurable steps to address inequity in educational systems and to expand access to high-quality, personalized learning ecosystems. Her research in CBE and learning innovation has been published by the Clayton Christensen Institute and is published in several peer-reviewed journals. McIntyre-Hite serves on the board of directors for the C-BEN and American Institutes of Research Advisory Board for Competency-Based Education and Learning.

Matthew is a 15 year veteran of leading and consulting on talent development and learning transformations in Fortune 100s. As a principal consultant at Guild, he leads research and thought leadership on topics like the intersection of L&D and DEI, talent trends based on economic indicators, talent mobility, and the future of work. He works with current and prospective Fortune 500 clients to put together plans to upskill and reskill their talent to be ready for the Future of Work. Prior to joining Guild (by way of the acquisition of Entangled.Solutions), Matthew built his own consultancy focused on learning strategy, learning technology, and experience design for Fortune 100s including Nike, Cigna Healthcare, GSK, Microsoft, and General Motors. Additionally, Matthew has led enterprise learning technology and design for Capital One during their Digital Transformation.
